Jesus made some amazing statements, like: "I'm God. I'm the Savior of the world. I am the Messiah... I'm the only way to heaven."
What does the fact that Jesus rose from the dead 2020 plus years ago matter to me?
"Who (Christ) bought our freedom with his blood and forgave us all our sins." Col. 1:14 LB

"In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace" Eph. 1:7
"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross." Col. 2:13-14
I can quit nailing myself to a cross over things I feel bad about because… Jesus was nailed to that cross for me already.
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1)
2. CHRIST SET ME FREE FROM WORRY ABOUT MY FUTURE. We actually worry about our worries.
The greatest and most common worry that we all have is the… "What If?" game.
"Dear friends, God the Father chose you long ago and knew you would become his children. And the Holy Spirit has been at work in your hearts, cleansing you with the blood of Jesus Christ and making you to please him. May God bless you richly and grant you increasing freedom from all anxiety and fear." 1st Peter 1:2 LB
The Bible says, Don't panic, Pray! Cast all your cares on the Lord. Remember, if it's worth worrying about it's worth praying about.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil. 4:13
The secret of worry-free living is trust your future to Christ. I may not know what the future holds but… I know who holds the future.
Jesus says, Don't be afraid and don’t worry. I'll handle it if you'll just trust Me."
Worldly Success does not ultimately satisfy. What you need in life is Significance.
"For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Eph. 2:10
True Success is finding that Significance and being what God meant for you to be.
"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace." Acts 20:24
"Since you died, as it were, with Christ and this has set you free from following the world's ideas of how to be saved, by doing good and obeying various rules…why do you keep right on following them anyway, still bound by such rules. " Col. 2:20 LB
1) Heaven is a perfect place. Absolutely perfect. There's no sin in heaven. There's no crime in heaven. There's no bad motives in heaven. There's no disease, no mistakes, no sorrows, no pain.
2) You have to be perfect to go there. Now you say, "I don't stand a chance."
You don't earn the right to heaven. It is a free gift. If a person could earn it by being good then it wouldn't be free.
It's all about a relationship. It's knowing Christ in a personal way. It's the free gift of Salvation offered because of God’s Grace.
One day you're going to stand before God and God's going to say, "Why should I let you into my perfect place?" You can either say, I was perfect" and we know that's not going to work. Or you can say, "I trusted in Your son who said You'd let me in because… I trusted in Him."
You're not genuinely ready to live until you're ready to die.
“But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom. 6:22-23 NLT
The obvious question now is, "Have you received it yet?"
Regardless of why you're here you're not here by accident.
God wanted you to slow down long enough today to get your attention to say, "You matter to Me. I don't want you to just exist. I want you to make the rest of your life, the best of your life."
You can only do that by accepting God's gift of Salvation.

Those four benefits -- To live guilt free, To live worry free, To live with a purpose, and To live not trying to earn my way to heaven -- that's the good news of Easter. You can be forgiven.

These four benefits are summed up in one word – Salvation. Jesus came to be the Savior of the world.
"Dear God, I believe Jesus Christ was who He claimed to be, Your son, and that He proved it by rising from death to life. Jesus thank You for dying on the cross for me. I ask you to forgive me of my sin and I want to get to know You personally and experience the freedoms You offer. I ask You to come into my life and be my Savior and Lord, I accept Your free gift of salvation today. Amen."
