Hello everyone!
Love is in the Air!
I hear it in the wind! I feel it in the rain! It makes the hair on my neck stand up and sends shivers down my spine and quivers all the way down to my toes! My head is in a whirl and I feel a little numb and dizzy!……. Oh, wait, I forgot, that’s just the WINTER! The cold is playing tricks on me again!
But I do often feel that way because I am so blessed to be married to Sonya! True Love is a gift and a wonderful blessing from God!
But not everyone has been blessed in this way. Some may have never experienced it, some have been blessed with it for a season, and some, Lord willing, will know it in the near future. All these things are in the Lord’s hands, as are all the blessings and trials of life. But there is a love that far exceeds any other love. And that is God’s Love!
God is LOVE, and His love is pure, unselfish, eternal, and inexhaustible! Therefore, the greatest love we can know is to Know Him. And the more that we know Him, the more we will want to be as much like our Father in Heaven as we can possibly be.
God sent His Son to purchase eternal life for us! Jesus laid down His life, willingly, for us! And God’s Love empowers us to lay down our lives for Him, and for one another.
The best place we can experience God’s Love is with His Body, the Church! We experience His love together through fellowship, worship, ministry and in sharing His love and His Word with the world.
Our Men’s Prayer time each week has been a wonderful blessing to me as we share God’s Love together in fellowship and prayer! God is a blessing and increasing our men month by month! And I always feel a part of me is missing when I have to miss our Sunday services!
