I just want to pour out my heart today in an earnest prayer to our Almighty, Sovereign, Holy, Wise and Loving God:
“Our Father in Heaven, in the Name of Your Holy Son, Jesus, I pray for Your blessing and protection and provision for our Church. Strengthen, guide and protect us all from physical, mental and emotional struggles, and spiritual attacks from
Satan.
I pray for Pastor Lynn. Help him as he preaches Your WORD and leads us in Your service with the gifts you have given us.
I pray for Jasper. Help him as he teaches, preaches and ministers to our youth, and leads their activities and service.
I pray for Beth. Help her as she learns more and more how to juggle all of the many tedious tasks in the Church office.
I pray for Debbie. Help her to endure the work cleaning and maintaining our facilities, despite her physical pain.
I pray for all our teachers. Help them to
prepare and teach with wisdom, love and joy with great effect to those of all ages.
I pray for our ministries. Help all those who serve in the various outreach and care ministries: DEACONS and TRUSTEES, FOOD PANTRY/BOXES, HOMELESS, WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY, MEN’S PRAYER GROUP/ BREAKFAST, WOMEN’S MINISRY TEAM, QUILTING GROUP, FLOWERS, BUILDINGS and GROUNDS, ELWIN’S JOY CARDS, WORSHIP TEAMS: technicians, musicians and singers. WEBSITE/MEDIA OUTREACH & MINISRTY. TREASURER. PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE. (And any others!)
