Try a Little Kindness
Description

Title: Try A Little Kindness

Because of God’s deep love and concern for you, you should practice tenderhearted mercy and kindness to others.” Colossians 3:12

Kindness is love in action.

A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself. Your kindness will reward you, but your cruelty will destroy you. Proverbs 11:17

We need to be Aware! It’s imperative for our spiritual health!

1. Be Sensitive.

“Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others.” Phil. 2:4 (Berean Study Bible)

Kindness starts with the way we are looking at others

What are the three greatest emotional needs of the people closest to you?

2. Be Supportive.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words or names will never hurt me.” Unfortunately, is just not true.

A broken bone heals faster than a broken spirit.

When you belittle others, you are being little?

3. Be Sympathetic.

“When others are happy be happy with them. If they’re sad, share their sorrows.” Romans 12:15 CEV

4. Be Straightforward.

“Wounds from a sincere friend are better than kisses from an enemy.” Proverbs 27:6 NLT

Care enough to confront.

“Let the righteous [thoughtfully] strike (correct) me—it is a kindness [done to encourage my spiritual maturity].” Psalm 141:5 (Amplified Bible)

5. Be Spontaneous.

“As we have the opportunity let us do good to all people especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10 NIV

When should I be kind? It should be whenever you see a need.

“Do your givin’ while you’re livin’ then you’ll be knowin’ where it’s goin’.”

When it comes to kindness, good intentions don’t count.

Just Do it and do it now.

There’s always a price tag to kindness.

You are a living Bible!

The Christian life is the life of kindness.

When the goodness and kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared [in human form as the Man, Jesus Christ], “Jesus Christ is the kindness of God.” Titus 3:4
