Frequently Asked Questions
What should my child wear to VBS?
- Close-toed shoes AND weather appropriate clothing.
- No bathing suits.
- Sunscreen.
What is the VBS schedule?
- 8:00AM – 11:30PM each day.
- Each student will rotate with their age group, after worship and story between stations; snack, craft, music, and recreation.
Does VBS have a Preschool program?
- Yes, our VBS preschoolers must be age 3 or 4 AND potty-trained. They will be in a self-contained classroom.
Will my child receive any food at VBS?
- Each day we provide a small snack during our VBS time.
What if my child has a food allergy?
- The safest solution for your child with severe food allergies is to bring in your own snack from home. Bring your snack in a marked, disposable bag to the snack area before VBS.
- Please contact our Snack Coordinator for questions regarding snacks details.
Where do I check my child in?
- We will have sign in tables by the entrance to sign your student in each day, Pre-school will need to be walked in to their class each day.
Where do I pick up my child?
- Students will need to be signed out from their class in the Sanctuary. Pre-schoolers will be signed out from their classroom.
When and where does Tucson Mountain Baptist Church meet?
- Tucson Mountain Baptist Church meets every Sunday at 5757 W Ajo Highway, Tucson, AZ 85735
- 9:00 AM service for EVERYONE with children's program for Nursery through 4th grade
- Sunday School programs at 10:30 AM for Nursery through Adult!
