Life is a journey
Let us look at the journey of the wise men in the Bible and how they reached their destination. We will learn some lessons and these lessons are also applicable in our personal and spiritual life.
Matthew 2:1-2 (NIV)
1. After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem
2. and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”
First the lesson of Priority: The Manifestation of the value of Christ in their lives. How they demonstrate the value of Christ: By giving their Time- “How you spend your time will determine what is really
important to you!”
Second the lesson of Praise: Praising and worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ is more important than anything else. The Bible says “ whether we eat or drink or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God..”
(1 Cor.10:31)This is what we ought to do in our
journey as God’s people.
Third the Lesson of Perseverance: They didn’t stop until they found the Child. Life is full of challenges and surprises at the same time. We may find ourselves tired, exhausted and struggling. But let us be
encourage of what Jesus said: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” Matthew 11:28-30.

Let us continue to be grounded and rooted in Christ in our journey as God’s people.
