A New Year Resolution- Love your Neighbor

May the year to come be prosperous and bright
Filled with dreams coming true and the greatest delight
Where smiles are contagious, and happiness abounds
And miracles are evident; the name of Jesus resounds
May the new year bring gladness with love in the air
To an undeserving world that hangs on a prayer
Kindness dancing in the atmosphere, a peace that fills our hearts
Compassion overflowing everywhere, this is where
revival starts
May the year to come spark courage to all who are afraid
The lost, the sick, the lonely bravely coming forward to be saved
Every church seat filled with a revived heart that’s on fire for our Lord
Singing loudly and praising the King while broken hearts get restored
May the new year generate a passion for people that
creates enormous hearts.
The gospel to share, helping hands and open arms- this is where it starts
Sympathy and generosity flow across the land
While we boldly reach to our neighbor and gently take their hand
The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:31

1 Peter 3:8 “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.”

“Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:1-2
